This series is based on the myth of Jason in search of the Golden Fleece. His story has been told for 3,000 years and takes on many twists and turns over the period of his whole life. The first writing of the tale was during the Homeric age, over 600 years later. It is set before the time of the Trojan War , circa 1300 B.C. Jason becomes the hero that the Queen of all the Heavens, Hera, needs to exact revenge on King Pelias, Jason’s half uncle. Usurpation, revenge, betrayal, death, love, dedication and journey are all part of this extraordinary myth.
